About Diana
Diana is an experienced counselling professional with over 15 years of community practice, supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. She has worked extensively with families of abuse survivors and underprivileged individuals, helping them navigate difficulties and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Diana holds a Master in Social Science (Counselling) from Edith Cowan University and a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from the National University of Singapore. She also holds a Diploma in Clinical Supervision from the Counselling and Care Centre. In addition to her academic training, Diana is a Certified Basic Instructor in Choice Theory & Reality Therapy (William Glasser Institute), a Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI) practitioner, and a Play of Life practitioner.
She is a Registered Social Worker with the Singapore Association of Social Workers and a Registered Counsellor and Registered Clinical Supervisor with the Singapore Association for Counselling.

About Mi Nie
Mi Nie has a special interest in the area of Addiction, a field she finds both challenging and deeply rewarding. She recognises that Addiction is a complex interplay of genetic, environmental, neurological, and psychological factors, and she is committed to helping clients understand and overcome these challenges. Witnessing clients achieve recovery and make positive changes in their lives continues to inspire her work.
Effectively bilingual, Mi Nie speaks fluent English and Mandarin, and is also conversant in several dialects including Teochew, Hokkien, and Cantonese, enabling her to work comfortably with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Mi Nie has volunteered at a halfway house for several years, an experience that has given her valuable on-the-ground insight and a deep sense of empathy for those in recovery. This perspective allows her to connect with clients and provide meaningful support throughout their healing process.
Her counselling style is integrative, drawing from several therapeutic approaches — including Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Choice Theory Reality Therapy (CTRT), and Psychodynamic Therapy — to ensure the best possible fit for each individual. Equipped with knowledge of risk factors, early warning signs, and effective treatment options, Mi Nie is dedicated to developing and implementing evidence-based strategies that promote prevention and long-term recovery.
Outside of her professional life, Mi Nie finds joy and relaxation through pottery—a creative outlet that mirrors her belief in mindfulness, balance, and growth through process.

About Nina
Nina is a counsellor who offers a warm, gentle, and non-judgmental space for individuals experiencing behavioural addictions, as well as family members and significant others affected by a loved one's addiction. She believes that every person's story matters and that, even in the midst of struggle, there is hope for change, healing, and growth.
She takes a client-centred approach, placing importance on trust, emotional safety, and a strong therapeutic relationship. Nina meets clients where they are, recognising that every person's experiences and circumstances are unique. She walks alongside clients with compassion and curiosity, supporting them at a pace that feels safe and meaningful.
Nina works collaboratively with clients to better understand the patterns, emotions, and experiences that contribute to addiction and its impact. Together, they explore strengths, values, and existing resources while developing healthier ways of coping, navigating relationships, and responding to life's challenges. Whether supporting individuals in recovery or loved ones affected by addiction, she believes that meaningful and lasting change is possible.
At the heart of her work is a sincere hope that clients not only cope with the challenges they face, but also experience greater self-understanding, resilience, and connection. Her aim is to support clients in building lives that feel more grounded, purposeful, and aligned with what matters most to them.

About David
David is a locum counsellor at One Hope Centre. He wishes to serve and help the community in a meaningful capacity.
David volunteers as a counsellor in Family Service Centres to help couples in their marriage situation, volunteers at half-way houses with residents with drug addiction issues as well as counsels adults of various stages of life with mental health challenges and concerns.
Although he is retired, he continues with his part time consultancy work and projects.
David is married with four children. In his leisure time, he loves jogging and watching all kinds of sports. He is also keen to go travelling now that he has more time.

About Xuhua
Xuhua is an Intern at One Hope Centre. He chose to do his practicum at One Hope Centre because of his passion in serving people struggling with addictions utilising his extensive legal experience.
Xuhua understands that counselling for people affected by addictions is complex and specialised. He is keen to deepen his professional knowledge and skills in this area.
Xuhua holds qualifications to practise law in China, New York and Hong Kong. He was based in Beijing, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore in the 35 years of his legal career.
